A warning has been issued in Azerbaijan due to strong winds

The National Hydrometeorological Service has declared yellow, orange and red weather hazard levels due to windy weather expected on April 16 in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions.
According to the service, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Gabala, Oguz, Agsu, Balakan, Gakh, Sheki, Zagatala, Salyan, Ganja, Gazakh, Agstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, Gadabay, Khachmaz, Guba, Samukh, Agdash, Ujar, Kurdamir, Goygol, Bilasuvar, Yevlakh, Barda, Agdam, Tartar, Aghjabadi, Lankaran, Astara, Jalilabad, Masalli, Lerik, Yardimli, Saatli, Sabirabad, Zardab, Goychay and Imishli, a north-western wind will prevail with speeds of 13.9-20.7 m/sec.
In Kalbajar, Lachin, Gobustan, Shabran, Khizi, Siyazan, Gusar, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Mingachevir, Goranboy, Naftalan and Dashkesan, a north-western wind is also expected, with speeds reaching 20.8-28.4 m/sec.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, a north-western wind is expected - 28.5 m/s and higher.
