A new restriction is being introduced in Icherisheher

In order to preserve the unique historical appearance of Icherisheher, create a calmer, safer and more convenient environment for pedestrians, both local residents and numerous visitors to the capital, the implementation of a number of innovations regarding traffic in the Old City has begun.

As reported in response to a Trend inquiry to the Administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher", according to the new rules, to ensure comfortable movement, the number of vehicles simultaneously present in the reserve territory is limited to 300 cars.

If the number of cars does not exceed the established limit, entry for non-residents is carried out in accordance with low tariffs: 3 manats for the first 15 minutes, 5 manats for each subsequent hour. Payment is made only in non-cash form (through Azparking, POS terminals, etc.).

It is emphasized that these steps are aimed at preserving the historical and architectural heritage of Icherisheher in accordance with its status on the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as creating a pedestrian space that meets modern standards of urban management.
