18-year-old woman died after cesarean section in Sumgayit

Resident of Kurdamir district Taira Huseynova (born in 2007) died in the Central Clinical Hospital (CCH) of Baku.

As Oxu.Az reports, on April 26, the girl was taken to the Medical Center of Sumgayit city for a cesarean section. After the surgical intervention, the young mother's condition sharply deteriorated.

Taira Huseynova was urgently transported by ambulance to the CCH in the capital, but doctors were unable to save her life. The woman in labor died on May 1.

An investigation is being conducted into this incident.
