They Demanded an Astronomical Sum from Pugacheva Due to an Interview

A lawsuit has been filed against Russian singer Alla Pugacheva seeking compensation for moral damage. This was reported in news telegram channels.
"They are demanding 1.5 billion rubles (approximately 27.6 million manats) from Alla Pugacheva because of her interview in which she praised the head of the self-proclaimed Ichkeria, Dzhokhar Dudayev," the post states. It was published in the Shot telegram channel.
The lawsuit was filed by lawyer Alexander Treshchev. It is noted that he considered the singer's statements about the former head of Ichkeria, Dzhokhar Dudayev, and criticism of the Russian authorities offensive, including to war veterans. Treshchev notes that he will transfer all funds from winning the lawsuit to the needs of war veterans, keeping only 1 ruble for himself.
Earlier, Alla Pugacheva, in an interview with journalist Katerina Gordeeva (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) published on YouTube, stated that she does not consider herself a traitor to Russia, despite criticism directed at her. The singer also continues to remain an individual entrepreneur in Russia and conduct business, despite living abroad for an extended period
