Singer Jony has canceled all concerts at least until mid-April - REASON
The performer of the hit "Kometa" Jony (Jahid Huseynli - the artist's real name, of Azerbaijani origin - ed.) has temporarily stopped performing due to problems with his vocal cords. The artist lost his voice right during a concert in Minsk, after which doctors prohibited him not only from singing but even from talking.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Telegram channel Mash.
It is noted that between performances the musician felt unwell, and medics gave him five adrenaline injections to relieve the pain and swelling.
Jony finished his performance in Minsk, but his condition only worsened. The singer is currently under medical supervision, with doctors prescribing him hormonal and anti-inflammatory therapy. The artist has also been put on a strict sleep regimen, inhalations, and complete vocal rest for three weeks.
Doctors warned that if the ban is violated and he starts straining his vocal cords too early, he could lose his voice permanently. If all goes well, Jony will return to performing around April 19. For now, all scheduled private concerts have been canceled.
