The Smolninsky District Court of Saint Petersburg has arrested rapper Oxxxymiron (real name - Miron Fedorov, designated as a foreign agent) in absentia.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the head of the united press service of the city courts Darya Lebedeva in a Telegram channel.

The rapper was arrested for two months, with the term to begin from the moment of his detention on Russian territory or extradition to the country.

The artist's defense requested that the motion for his arrest be rejected, pointing out that Fedorov was not present at the hearing and probably does not even know about the criminal case being initiated against him, she reported.

The rapper is charged under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code (violation of the procedure for activities of a foreign agent, committed by a person who has already been subjected to administrative punishment for this).

Oxxxymiron was placed on the wanted list in May 2024. "To date, Fedorov's whereabouts have not been established, he is deliberately hiding from the investigative authorities," Lebedeva wrote.
