American singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared in public together for the first time, confirming rumors about their romance, reports TMZ.
"The lovers went on a date in Paris, France, to celebrate Katy's 41st birthday," the publication says.
Perry and Trudeau's appearance at a Parisian cabaret marked their first official joint outing. After the program ended, they headed to the car waiting for them, where they were met by dozens of photographers and fans. Witnesses noted that the singer and politician looked "happier than ever."
It is specified that rumors about Perry and Trudeau's romance first emerged in summer, when they were spotted having dinner in Montreal, and later walking in Mount Royal Park.
