Famous singer Lolita Milyavskaya could not hold back her emotions while remembering Zhanna Friske, who passed away almost a decade ago. In an interview with NEWS.ru at the "MUZ-TV Award 2025. Legend" ceremony, the artist shared touching memories of her last conversation with her colleague.

The performer of the hit "On the Titanic" said that their last conversation took place on New Year's Eve 2015. According to Lolita, at that moment Zhanna was in remission and was sharing her plans for the future.

"My last conversation with her was not on the eve of her death, but on New Year's Eve. She said that she still wanted to have a child, that she was happy. She was in remission. That's how I remember her," Milyavskaya shared with tears in her eyes.

Despite the fact that almost 10 years have passed, Lolita admitted that she still cannot come to terms with the loss. According to the singer, Zhanna passed away quietly, surrounded by her closest people, which made the news of her death a real shock for many stage colleagues.

As a reminder, Zhanna Friske died on June 15, 2015, after a long battle with brain cancer at the age of 40. The singer learned about her diagnosis shortly after the birth of her son. Doctors diagnosed the celebrity with glioblastoma - the most aggressive form of brain tumor.
