Famous American rapper may perform a concert in Russia for a record sum
American rapper Travis Scott held private negotiations with Russian organizers in Dubai, where the parties discussed a possible concert at "Luzhniki" in summer 2026.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Telegram channel Mash, the musician has preliminarily agreed to perform for a record fee of $8 million. However, negotiations have been temporarily paused until the end of winter - the artist's team wants to monitor possible changes in the political situation before giving a final answer.
The organizers prepared for the meeting in advance, establishing contacts while working with Scott during his European performances this summer. During the discussion, it became clear that the artist pays special attention to the political situation in Russia and potential reputational risks. The fee he requested was higher than his usual rates at European venues.
