Bruce Willis's wife wanted to divorce him before she learned about his dementia

Bruce Willis's 70-year-old wife, 47-year-old Emma Heming, admitted that she was planning to divorce the actor shortly before learning about his diagnosis. Bruce has been suffering from dementia for several years now.
"I didn't understand what was happening. Something was clearly wrong, but I couldn't figure out exactly what. It seemed like our marriage was falling apart. Conversations became difficult, the relationship changed. It felt like hitting your head against a brick wall," Emma told Vanity Fair in an interview.
She also shared her emotions when she first learned about her husband's illness: "I was very angry, upset and sad. It was difficult for me to understand whether to be angry at the situation as a whole or at a specific person. I felt terrible, and everyone suffered from this - Bruce, the children, and myself, probably most of all."
