Azerbaijani singer earned 28,900 AZN in a month on YouTube
Singer Shohrat Mamedov attracted attention with his candid admission about income.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the performer, who was a guest on the show "Öz aramızda" ("Between us"), revealed information about his monthly earnings on YouTube, which amounted to 17,000 dollars (28,900 AZN):
"I have become the highest-paid Azerbaijani celebrity on YouTube. In one month, I earned 17,000 dollars (28,900 AZN). This happened thanks to the song "Öpüm nəfəsindən" ("I'll kiss your breath")."
Shohrat also emphasized that the average monthly income of Azerbaijani female singers on YouTube is 5-7,000 dollars (8,500-11,900 AZN).
