They say that if you have money, your hands are necessarily elbow-deep in dirt. Those who say this are out of their minds. Money gives courage, instills confidence, and its absence brings sadness. The main thing is not to become a slave to finances. If money serves only in the name of your passions, it will lead to ruin.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to axşam.az, this was said by People's Artist of Azerbaijan Agadadash Agaev in the program Həftənin qonağı ("Guest of the Week").

The scandalously famous singer also spoke about his impressive collection of works of art and antiques:

"I loved painting, but chose music. I sat at home for hours and just drew. I have had original chased works stored at home for 40 years. There are also antiques 250-300 years old. Wherever I went, I brought something back from there. Many friends, knowing about my hobby, also sent appropriate gifts."

Agaev also touched upon the topic of his wealth and the Büsat celebration house, which now functions as a ceremonial hall.

It should be noted that earlier the singer stated that he opened the country's first celebration house. He noted that he went into business so as not to need anything.

"I took my daughter to doctors in different countries. I was away from the country for a long time, couldn't fully engage in my work. Therefore, I decided to rent out the premises for 15 years. One day the tenant suggested turning it into a ceremonial hall - I agreed: you pay the rent - do what you want. I opened other facilities as well, including the company LLC Ağadadaş.

I had so much money that there was nowhere to spend it. I earned fabulous sums in Soviet times. However, the whole point was that you couldn't spend it anywhere. There were inspections everywhere. Sometimes I would go into a luxury store, although many weren't allowed in. I was greedy for branded items. Law enforcement would come in and ask where I got such money and where I worked. I bought so many houses in Baku! Once I bought an entire block of a building. The most important thing is to keep gold at home. But you shouldn't go and sell a gold bar every time you get into trouble," he emphasized.
