Zakir Hasanov met with the Minister of Defense of Israel

The leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) is on an official visit to Tel Aviv, Israel.

This was reported by the military department of AR.

According to the information, as part of the visit, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with his Israeli counterpart Israel Katz and the Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir.

During the meetings, the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Israel was especially noted, and a thorough exchange of views took place on the prospects for the development of bilateral military cooperation.

At the meeting held as part of the official visit between the Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan - Director General Agil Gurbanov and the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense Amir Baram, measures to expand bilateral cooperation in military-technical and military-educational fields, as well as future plans were discussed.

The leadership of the ministry also visited the Main Operations Center of the Israel Defense Forces and familiarized themselves with the work being carried out there.
