Zakir Hasanov and the military delegation of Uzbekistan visited a commando military unit

On December 12, the Minister of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic, Colonel General Zakir Gasanov, Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev, and a military delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Viktor Makhmudov and Defense Minister Lieutenant General Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov, who are on an official visit to our country, visited one of the commando military units.

First, flowers were laid at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev, installed on the territory of the military unit, and his bright memory was honored.

Colonel General Z. Gasanov and the Uzbekistan military delegation visited the shooting range, soldiers' barracks, weapons room, clothing warehouse, as well as the dining hall, where they familiarized themselves with the conditions created for personnel.

After examining the simulation equipment presented by the Ministry of Defense Industry, the guests observed the physical training exercises of servicemen in the gym.

The delegations were shown the actions of commandos on the mountain commando tower and on the scout trail.

The guests were presented with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), weapons, vehicles and special equipment, as well as other combat assets produced by the Ministry of Defense Industry and military-industrial companies.

Then the Uzbek delegation was shown the armaments, equipment and combat vehicles in service with the Azerbaijani army, and their tactical and technical characteristics were explained in detail.

The visit is of significant importance in terms of further strengthening mutual cooperation, expanding the exchange of experience, and developing ties between the defense departments of the two countries.
