Zakharova: Moscow awaits concrete steps from Baku and Yerevan on organizing the "3+3" meeting

Russia expects Azerbaijan and Armenia to take active steps to agree on the dates for the next meeting of the foreign ministers of the countries participating in the "3+3" regional cooperation platform.
This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova.
The diplomat indicated that such a platform, whose member states are Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iran and Turkey, serves as "a good platform for discussing Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization and other topics relevant to the South Caucasus."
"We expect our Azerbaijani and Armenian colleagues to take active steps to promptly agree on the location and timing of the next meeting of the foreign ministers of the countries participating in this platform," noted M. Zakharova.
At the same time, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that the Russian side confirms "readiness to provide partners with the necessary assistance on the entire spectrum of issues."
