Words That Conquered Hearts: A Resident of the Village of Boyuk Galadarasi Sent Greetings to Mehriban Aliyeva
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the village of Boyuk Galadarasi in the Shusha district on May 28, where he familiarized himself with the progress of the restoration of private homes and infrastructure, and also met with residents who had returned to their native village.
As reported by BAKU.WS, during the meeting with residents, a touching dialogue between the head of state and an elderly woman — the oldest resident of the village — drew particular attention.
The woman, inquiring about First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, warmly addressed the President: "Why didn't you bring my daughter, I would have liked to see her."
In response, the head of state conveyed greetings from Mehriban Aliyeva.
The elderly woman in turn asked him to pass on her best wishes: "Give my warmest regards to my daughter from the city of Shusha."
To these words, President Ilham Aliyev replied with a smile: "Certainly. She is also a daughter of the city of Shusha, as you know."
