What happened in Yekaterinburg regarding Azerbaijanis is an example of ethnic cruelty

The cruel and inhumane treatment inflicted on June 27 by OMON officers in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg against Azerbaijanis deeply shocked us.
This was stated to Report by Azer Kerimli, a deputy of the Milli Mejlis (National Assembly) of Azerbaijan.
According to him, this event is not only a gross violation of human rights but also represents an example of ethnic discrimination and cruelty.
The deputy recalled that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan immediately and harshly responded to the incident, expressing an official protest to the Russian side. The Chargé d'Affaires of Russia in Baku was summoned to the Foreign Ministry, where the issue was firmly raised.
"I believe that the relevant structures of the Russian Federation should immediately conduct an investigation and hold accountable those who committed the violence. Such acts of cruelty, committed under the guise of law enforcement activities, cannot be justified under any circumstances," emphasized Azer Kerimli.
