US citizens evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan

After the start of the conflict between Israel and Iran, the evacuation of foreign citizens from Iran to Azerbaijan continues.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, throughout the day, the evacuation of foreign citizens is carried out in small groups through the State Border Checkpoint in Astara.

Some time ago, more than 10 citizens of the USA and other foreign countries were evacuated to Azerbaijan. US citizen Aborzi Aboring stated that favorable conditions were created at the border for crossing: "I thank the Azerbaijani state for organizing the evacuation."

Note that some foreign states have asked the government of Azerbaijan to assist in returning their citizens from Iran to their homeland via transit through Azerbaijan's territory.
