Two years have passed since the creation of PPP "Lachyn"

April 23, 2025 marks two years since the establishment of the "Lachin" border checkpoint (BCP).

As BAKU.WS reminds, on April 23, 2023, units of the State Border Service established the "Lachin" BCP at the beginning of the Lachin-Khankendi road on our sovereign territories and raised the Azerbaijani flag, which was reported to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.

The creation of the checkpoint aimed to prevent violations of the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020, in particular, illegal transportation from Armenia of manpower, weapons, ammunition, mines and other military equipment for Armenian armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan.

The head of state highly appreciated this historic event, emphasizing that this day marked the complete restoration of our country's territorial integrity.
