The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription has published statistical data on anti-corruption efforts for the second quarter of 2025.

According to information provided to BAKU.WS, in order to implement tasks arising from the "National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight Against Corruption for 2022-2026" of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and to eliminate factors that create conditions for corruption, the state service has been implementing systematic measures since May 2023 to increase transparency in service activities and combat corruption.

During this period, comprehensive work was carried out to improve the regulatory framework, strengthen control mechanisms, and increase citizen satisfaction.

Thus, as a result of service investigations into cases of abuse of official powers by employees, disciplinary sanctions and organizational-staffing measures were taken against 78 employees in 2023, 249 employees last year, and 103 employees in the first half of 2025, including 9 employees who were discharged to the reserve for negative reasons or had their employment contracts terminated this year. In 2023, materials on 15 facts concerning 22 people, in 2024 on 51 facts concerning 95 people, and in the current year on 28 facts concerning 62 people were sent to the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan for procedural decisions.
