The range of persons exempt from paying state fees is expanding
In Azerbaijan, the list of persons who are exempt from paying the state duty is expanding.
As reported by BAKU.WS, it is proposed to add a new article to the law "On State Duty".
According to the draft law, the following categories of citizens are exempted from paying state duties for services and legal actions specified in Article 26 of the law:
- persons who became disabled while defending the territorial integrity, independence and constitutional order of Azerbaijan;
- citizens who suffered in connection with the events of January 20, 1990;
- military personnel who became disabled while performing military duty and official obligations;
- participants in the cleanup of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident who became disabled during the performance of official duties;
- family members of martyrs (those who died for the homeland).
The following services fall under the exemption:

| 26.3. Registration in relation to a part of a land plot on which unfinished construction is located, deregistration of destroyed real estate and rights to it, as well as providing information from the state register | 30 |
| 26.4. Additional registration of mortgage, additional registration of pledge, state registration of notification of directing seizure of the mortgage object, release of real estate from encumbrances (mortgage, rent, use, leasing, easement, etc.), issuance of a duplicate extract on state registration of property rights to real estate, issuance of duplicate technical documents (passport and plan) for real estate | 15 |
