The President participated in the opening of the LATIFA sewing factory in Lachin

On May 27, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the LATIFA sewing factory in Lachin.

As AZERTAJ reports, the general director of "Baku Improvement Service" LLC Bunyad Gasymov informed the head of state Ilham Aliyev about the factory.

Recall that the "Lachin Agro-Industrial Park," which was opened on August 26, 2023, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, is expanding its activities. There are already 12 enterprises operating in the park located in Zerti village.

It was reported that two more enterprises are planned to be launched in the industrial park. One of them is the LATIFA sewing factory in Lachin. The enterprise with a total cost of 1.2 million manats will create 30 new jobs. The factory will produce 2 thousand units of textile products per day. These include home textiles, sports sets, exclusive clothing, and other products.

Large-scale projects for the revival of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, which were under Armenian occupation for many years, continue to be implemented in parallel with the realization of the region's economic potential. The commissioning of new production and service enterprises creates broad conditions for sustainable population resettlement and ensuring employment. The establishment of manufacturing enterprises in the Lachin Industrial Park is also of great importance in terms of applying innovative technologies and producing export-oriented products. All these steps are turning Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur into one of the important components of the republic's economic development, accelerating the integration of the region into the country's economy as a whole.
