The President of Azerbaijan congratulated the Chairman of the Sovereign Transitional Council of the Republic of Sudan
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the Chairman of the Sovereign Transitional Council of the Republic of Sudan Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Al-Burhan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:
"Dear Mr. Chairman,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and your people my most sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Sudan.
I believe that in the interests of our peoples, we will continue to make joint efforts aimed at developing relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Sudan in the spirit of friendship.
On this significant day, I wish you good health, success in your endeavors, and prosperity and well-being to your friendly people."
