The President approved the memorandum between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of statistics

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree approving the Memorandum of Understanding between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of statistics.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the intergovernmental memorandum was signed on October 3, 2025 in Ankara.

According to the decree, after the memorandum comes into force, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its articles.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to send a notification to the government of Turkey about Azerbaijan's completion of domestic procedures necessary for the Memorandum to enter into force.
