Israeli leaders welcome historic peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated US President Donald Trump on the signing of a historic peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"Congratulations to President Trump! Your bold leadership and global vision have made another peace agreement possible," Netanyahu wrote on his account on the social network X.

The Israeli Prime Minister also addressed congratulations directly to the participants of the agreement: "I congratulate the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Pashinyan, as well as the peoples of Azerbaijan and Armenia on signing this historic agreement. May you all enjoy a new era of reconciliation and shared prosperity."

Israeli President Isaac Herzog also expressed his admiration for the historic event. In his post on X, he wrote: "I was deeply moved to see the signing of the historic agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington under the auspices of Donald Trump."

"Great achievement, President Trump! Thank you for your leadership and passionate commitment to achieving peace in our world," Herzog emphasized.

The President of Israel also congratulated Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan on their demonstrated leadership, wishing the peoples of both countries "to live in peace, security and prosperity."

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs also sent congratulations to the parties.

"Congratulations to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on initialing the peace treaty between their countries. Thanks to the active leadership and participation of Donald Trump and his administration, this has become another important achievement contributing to peace, stability and prosperity," the Foreign Ministry statement said.
