The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and Anaklia port are included in Georgia's priorities for 2026
Georgia in 2026 will focus on economic growth, creation of new jobs, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, Anaklia port and the energy sector.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili.
She noted that in 2026, the key priorities, along with ensuring high rates of economic growth, will be reducing poverty and improving the well-being of the population.
According to M. Kvirivishvili, in 2026, priority projects also include the completion of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, transition to the active phase of construction of the Anaklia deep-sea port, as well as the development of the energy sector.
According to the minister, all these steps will have a direct impact on the economic and social development of the country.
