The AzTV employee injured by a mine explosion testified in court
At today's session of the Baku Military Court, the victim Emin Mamedov gave testimony.
As reported by BAKU.WS, he said that he was sent to Kelbajar for filming as an AzTV employee, and on June 4, 2021, in the village of Susuzlug, an anti-tank mine exploded under the wheels of their car. The mine was planted by the armed forces of Armenia.
As a result of the explosion, AzTV operator Siraj Abyshov, AZERTAJ correspondent Maharram Ibrahimov, and the deputy representative of the head of the Kelbajar district administration for the Susuzlug village district, Arif Aliyev, were killed. Four others, including Mamedov himself, were injured.
He noted that the road had been used repeatedly before, which gives grounds to assert that the mine was planted later as a result of sabotage. The victim also answered questions from the defense.
