Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives visited the Alley of Honorary Burial and Victory Park
On June 22, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mazen Torqa Saud al-Qadi, visited the Alley of Honorable Burial as part of his official visit to Azerbaijan.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press and public relations department of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, the Jordanian parliamentarian paid tribute to the memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at his grave.
It is noted that the parliamentary delegation led by him also visited Victory Park in Baku, where they laid a wreath at the monument and honored the memory of those who perished in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The guests were provided with information about Victory Park, created to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs and preserve the historical memory of the Great Victory achieved by the Azerbaijani people in the 44-day Patriotic War.
