SOCAR, BOTAŞ, TotalEnergies and ADNOC signed a gas supply agreement from the Absheron field
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Turkey's BOTAŞ, France's TotalEnergies, and ADNOC (UAE) have signed a new 15-year agreement on natural gas supplies from the "Absheron" field in the Caspian Sea.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a post by Turkey's Ministry of Energy on the social network X.
"On the sidelines of the Baku Energy Forum, with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, a new 15-year natural gas supply agreement was signed between our national company BOTAŞ, SOCAR, TotalEnergies, and ADNOC," the publication states.
Under this agreement, in connection with new production investments in the "Absheron" field, a total of 33 billion cubic meters of natural gas will be supplied to Turkey starting from 2029.
