Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the accession of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the format of consultative meetings of the Central Asian heads of state as a full participant

Today is truly a historic day for our brotherly nations. We are making fundamental decisions on the accession of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the format of consultative meetings as a full participant.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the meeting of the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States in the "Central Asia + Azerbaijan" format.

"We will build a solid bridge between Central Asia and the South Caucasus, pave the way for the formation of a unified space of cooperation, which will certainly strengthen the strategic interconnectedness and sustainability of both regions. I want to sincerely thank all my respected colleagues for making this important decision and congratulate Ilham Heydarovich on joining the format of consultative meetings as a full participant," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
