Shahin Mustafayev: Zangezur corridor will increase the capacity of the Middle Corridor by 15 million tons

Opening of the Zangezur Corridor will increase the capacity of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) by 15 million tons per year.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev at a special meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev's visit to the United States.

"The corridor is a strategic bridge connecting the main territory of Azerbaijan with Turkey and Central Asia. At the same time, the corridor will play the role of a new artery connecting Southeast Asia and the Persian Gulf with the countries of Northern Europe," he noted.
