Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with the general director of Russian Railways
On November 26, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) Ali Asadov met with the General Director - Chairman of the Board of JSC "Russian Railways" Oleg Belozerov.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, during the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of Azerbaijani-Russian economic cooperation in various areas were discussed.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in the transport and logistics sphere, including interaction between railways.
The importance of continuing joint efforts to increase the transit potential of the region was noted. In this context, the need for synchronous work on developing infrastructure along the international transport corridor "North-South" and maintaining sustainable growth in cargo transportation volumes along this route was emphasized.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of JSC "Azerbaijan Railways" Rovshan Rustamov.
