President of the Council of the European Union honored the memory of martyrs in Baku

President of the Council of the European Union António Costa, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs on March 11.

As reported by AZERTAC, the guest honored the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who gave their lives in the struggle for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.

The distinguished guest, who admired the panorama of the Azerbaijani capital from the highest point of Baku, was provided with information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the urban improvement works being carried out in the city.
