Today the Turkic world is experiencing a period of its rise.
As reported by AZERTAG, this was stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the Solidarity Forum of non-governmental organizations of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States held in Baku on November 24.
The President of Azerbaijan noted that the Victory in Karabakh achieved five years ago is a source of common joy and pride for the Turkic peoples.
"I am convinced that the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions currently being reconstructed, and the upcoming opening of the Zangezur corridor will play an important role in the development and strengthening of cooperation between the Turkic states," the head of state's address says.
