It is gratifying that today our elders actively participate in all spheres of the country's life.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the address of President Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the IX Congress of the Council of Elders of Azerbaijan.
The head of state noted that the growing threats in the world, especially the deformation of national moral and family values in many countries as a result of globalization and the harmful influence of social networks, even more clearly emphasize the importance and role of the institution of elders in Azerbaijan.
"Raising the youth in the spirit of national patriotism and attachment to their roots, guiding them on the right path is one of the main tasks facing our elders," the President of Azerbaijan emphasized.
