President of Azerbaijan met with Olympic champion Zemfira Meftakhetdinova
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev spoke with Olympic champion in skeet shooting Zemfira Meftakhetdinova during a ceremony dedicated to the sporting results of 2025, which took place on December 26.
As reported by BAKU.WS Ilham Aliyev inquired about the current situation of skeet shooting in the country.
"As far as I know, after you, we have been experiencing a decline in the field of shooting," said the President of Azerbaijan.
"We are preparing. We are preparing, and I hope that everything will be good. Now we are planning everything, and I think that everything should be fine," Z. Meftakhetdinova replied.
To the head of state's question: "Will we have a second Zema?", Z. Meftakhetdinova smiled and replied: "We are waiting."
