President of Azerbaijan: During COVID we provided assistance to more than 80 countries

Azerbaijan led the Non-Aligned Movement, which includes 120 countries, for four years. During COVID, we provided support to member states of the organization in various situations. Regarding humanitarian and financial assistance, we provided aid to more than 80 countries.

As reported by AZERTAG, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the opening ceremony of the XII Global Baku Forum.

"At the same time, we maintained active relations with our European partners. In this regard, our role can be compared to building bridges between the Global South and the Global North," the head of state noted.
