President of Azerbaijan congratulated his Slovak counterpart

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and, in your person, your entire nation on the occasion of the national holiday - Constitution Day of the Slovak Republic.

Relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, based on mutual respect, trust, and constructive dialogue, are a source of satisfaction. The development of political dialogue between our countries in recent years, the increasing number of high-level visits, and the expanding scope of cooperation have further enriched the substance of bilateral relations.

The dynamics of cooperation between the two countries in the trade-economic, energy, and military-technical fields are gratifying.

I recall with the most pleasant impressions your visit to Azerbaijan in July, including our joint trip to the Karabakh region. I highly appreciate Slovakia's participation in the reconstruction of our territories liberated from occupation and regard this as a vivid example of our friendship and strategic partnership.

I am confident that the traditionally friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, interaction on both bilateral and multilateral levels, will continue to expand through our joint efforts in the interests of our peoples, and that our strategic partnership will be further strengthened.
