President of Azerbaijan approved amendments to the law on diplomatic service
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev approved amendments to the law "On Diplomatic Service."
As reported by BAKU.WS, the document provides for the payment of a benefit in the amount of three average monthly state salaries to diplomatic service employees dismissed due to being called up for compulsory military or alternative service.
At the same time, after discharge from the army, they have the right to apply within 60 days for reinstatement to their former or a similar position.
In addition, in the event of the death of a diplomatic service employee or a court ruling declaring them missing, their heirs are paid a benefit in the amount of four average monthly salaries.
The amendments also clarify the structure of monetary compensation for diplomatic workers, including the base salary, allowances for diplomatic rank, representation allowances, and overtime pay.
