President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Emir of Kuwait

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message reads:

"Your Majesty,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I am pleased to convey to You and, through You, to all Your people the most sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday of the State of Kuwait.

The current level of Azerbaijani-Kuwaiti interstate relations, developing in a spirit of mutual respect and trust, is gratifying. Mutual understanding at the highest level and active dialogue create favorable conditions for expanding cooperation in various spheres.

I am confident that the traditionally friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, as well as fruitful cooperation both at the bilateral level and within the framework of international organizations, will continue to expand and deepen through our joint efforts in the interests of both peoples.
