President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the new Central Bank building

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the new administrative building of the Central Bank.

As reported by AZERTAC, Chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov informed the head of state about the conditions created in the building.

The new building is located on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in the capital. Built in accordance with modern urban planning principles, the building features high functionality and advanced technological specifications.

President Ilham Aliyev viewed an exhibition where the conceptual approach, design features of national banknotes, and the line of technological development were demonstrated using modern presentation methods.

It was noted that the exhibition reflects the history, stages of development, design, and security features of national banknotes.

The building consists of 35 floors, with the total working area designed to accommodate 1,300 people. It has conference halls and press halls, various training rooms, and rooms for holding meetings and conferences.

During the design of the new building, special attention was paid to the principles of accessibility and inclusivity. Infrastructure was created to allow persons with physical disabilities to comfortably and safely enter the building and to ensure their free movement.

The building has 25 rooms designated for official meetings and assemblies. All of them are equipped with the necessary facilities.

The building also features modern technological and information systems that meet high standards of quality, safety, and sustainable development.

In addition, a recreation area has been created for the effective organization of employee leisure time, and a dining hall seating 340 people will be at their disposal.

The conference hall seating 240 people, where various events and presentations will be held, has all the necessary amenities.

The multimedia facade system, which provides visual recognition of the building at night, allows for various lighting and projection scenarios. The lighting system for the premises and the building, including the facade, is equipped with LED technology with motion sensors. This, in turn, allows for energy savings during the daytime.
