Ovcherchuk's visit to Azerbaijan canceled
The visit of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Alexei Overchuk to Azerbaijan, which was scheduled for the end of June, has been canceled.
As Oxu.Az reports, the reason for this decision was the events in Yekaterinburg, where citizens of Azerbaijan were brutally killed during a special operation by law enforcement agencies.
According to sources, under these circumstances, the Azerbaijani side considers it inappropriate for Overchuk or any other official representative of Russia to visit our country.
Recall that on the morning of June 27, employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia conducted a raid on the homes of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg. As a result of the operation, two Azerbaijanis - brothers of Seyfaddin Huseynli - were killed. Several more people were detained.
