Ordinary heroes: about AZAL pilots who saved 29 lives in a plane crash near Aktau
A special episode dedicated to the anniversary of the AZAL airplane crash near Kazakhstan's Aktau was broadcast on Baku TV RU.
It tells the story of the pilots of the Baku - Grozny flight that crashed on December 25, 2024, after the aircraft was damaged by Russian air defense missiles - Captain Igor Kshnyakin and Second Pilot Alexander Kalyaninov, who fulfilled their professional and human duty until the very last moment.
On the anniversary of the tragedy, they are remembered by their closest people - I. Kshnyakin's widow Yana and A. Kalyaninov's mother Elena.
