Life is being revived in the "Azerbaijan Quarter" in the city of Kahramanmaraş in Turkey. Residential buildings were constructed in the earthquake-affected region thanks to the cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Haber Global, the apartments will be handed over to the owners today at a ceremony attended by Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Recall that after the February 6 earthquake, intensive work began in the affected areas, primarily in Kahramanmaraş. Numerous residential facilities have been built in the region. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced support for housing construction in Turkey after the earthquake. Later, the area where the Azerbaijan Street was previously located was renamed the Azerbaijan Quarter under the coordination of the Ministry of Ecology, Urban Planning and Climate Change of the region. 2778 blocks have been built in the quarter. The construction of 1109 residential buildings and 766 workplaces is nearing completion. All construction work will be completed by the end of the year.
