MFA: Crews of vessels detained in Eritrea returned to Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released information about the return to Azerbaijan of the crews of vessels detained in Eritrea.
As reported, on the instructions of the head of state, 18 citizens of Azerbaijan, who are crew members of the vessels "CMS Pəhləvan", "CMS İgid" and "CMS-3", operated by the Azerbaijan branch of "Caspian Marine Services B.V.", which had been detained in Eritrea since November 7 last year, after lengthy negotiations as a result of joint coordination work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping" CJSC, have been released and delivered to Azerbaijan.
During the crews' stay in Eritrea, consular support was provided to the crews through the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ethiopia, and appropriate measures were taken to properly meet their needs.
