Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Perinatal Center of Ganja City United Hospital

On March 6, as part of their visit to Ganja, First Vice-President and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, and her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the Perinatal Center of Ganja City United Hospital.

As reported by AZERTAG, the director of Ganja City United Hospital, Ilkin Ismailov, provided information about the Perinatal Center, which provides services to residents of Ganja and surrounding regions.

It was noted that the Perinatal Center is a medical institution providing qualified diagnostic, consultative, and therapeutic care to women preparing for motherhood and newborns.

During the familiarization with the conditions at the medical institution, incubators and an ultrasound machine were donated to the Perinatal Center from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

During the visit, gifts from the Foundation were also presented to mothers of newborns.

It should be noted that healthcare is one of the priority areas of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's activities. The Foundation's projects such as "The Highest Care for Children with Diabetes," "For a Life Without Thalassemia," "Reconstruction and Construction of Medical Institutions," and many charitable actions provide substantial support to the healthcare sector. Modern medical institutions are being built in Baku and regions, equipped with the latest medical equipment.
