Mehriban Aliyeva expressed condolences on the death of people's artist Arif Babayev

First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) Mehriban Aliyeva shared a post on her official Instagram page regarding the death of People's Artist of AR Arif Babayev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the publication states:

"The passing of a prominent representative of Azerbaijani mugham art, Arif Babayev, is an irreplaceable loss for our culture, for all our people. He was a true People's Artist, loved by everyone, young and old. The mughams, of which he was a skillful performer, further enriched our national musical heritage. The kind and bright memory of Arif Babayev will forever remain in the heart of the Azerbaijani people. May Allah rest his soul."
