Today, 25 families who returned to permanent residence in their native village of Shukurbayli in the Jabrayil district were handed the keys to their homes.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the key handover ceremony was attended by employees of the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, the State Committee for Refugee and Internally Displaced Persons Affairs, as well as other officials.

ANAMA employees provided citizens with detailed information about the dangers posed by mines and unexploded ordnance.

Families were advised to stay away from suspicious items and objects, and in case of encountering such situations, to report them to the relevant authorities.

Within the framework of the "Great Return" state program, on the instructions of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, another group of displaced persons was sent to the liberated territories, to the village of Shukurbayli in the Jabrayil district.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the resettled families had previously been temporarily living in various districts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

At this stage, 25 families — 154 people — resettled in the village of Shukurbayli.

The residents who returned to their homeland expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care. They also thanked the valiant Azerbaijani Army, the heroic soldiers and officers for liberating our lands from occupation and wished peace to the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives on this path.
