In Iran, disagreements are intensifying: could a deal with the US lead to the country's split?
The new episode of the Baku TV program Aktual Gündəm ("Current Agenda") discussed the negotiations between the USA and Iran.
Experts examined why Tehran agreed to dialogue at the last moment and whether pressure from Russia could have influenced this, as well as assessed the prospects of a possible agreement and Iran's readiness to make concessions.
Special attention was given to the internal situation: the intensification of disagreements and whether a potential agreement could provoke a split in the country. The discussion covered which position would prevail - that of compromise supporters or hardliners.
Their assessments were shared by the head of the Center for Political and Legal Studies Khayal Bashirov, military expert Adalyat Verdiyev, as well as political analysts Anar Aliyev and Alimusa Ibragimov.
