In Baku, the second season of the TV series "Me, Lala and Sherlock Holmes 2" has been presented
On April 15, the presentation of the second season of the multi-episode feature television film "Me, Lala and Sherlock Holmes 2," created through the joint initiative of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company and the Ministry of Science and Education, took place at the "Nizami" cinema center.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Leyla Aliyeva and Alyona Aliyeva, Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, and Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev attended the presentation ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev thanked everyone who contributed to the creation of the project. Highly appreciating the activities of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, he said that in recent years there has been an increase in quality content in the television space, and particular approval is given to the attention paid to education-oriented projects. According to him, such initiatives make an important contribution to the enlightenment of children and the formation of their worldview.
The author of the project idea, Tural Sevdimaly, noted in his speech that the main goal of the project is to instill proper values in children. "We want children to learn to choose friends correctly, to know real heroes and, most importantly, to distinguish people who can be trusted," he emphasized.
Also informing about future plans, Tural Sevdimaly said that cooperation with the Film Agency has already been established. According to him, the project has successfully passed the pitching stage and the filming of a full-length version of the movie "Me, Lala and Sherlock Holmes" is planned in the near future. In the future, the film is expected to be shown in cinemas.
It should be noted that the screenplay of the film was written by Tural Sevdimaly and Vugar Huseynov. The series, combining family, detective, and comedy genres, consists of 12 episodes of 50 minutes each.
In the first season of the series, the events unfold in a village where a boy named Murad spends his summer holidays. His acquaintance with books, especially the works of Arthur Conan Doyle, and the formation of the image of Sherlock Holmes in his imagination constitute the main storyline. The main goal of the project is to emphasize the role of reading in a person's life. At the same time, thanks to Murad's rich imagination, various historical and cultural figures come to life in the series, giving the project educational content. Within the framework of the project, children are instilled with values such as honesty, responsibility, respect for elders, care for the environment, and rules of behavior in society.
In the new season, events unfold around 11-year-old Murad. Although he dreams of becoming the winner of the intellectual competition Əlaçı, according to the rules, he loses the right to participate. Nevertheless, Murad supports Lala in representing their native village and actively participates in the preparation process. In the storyline, themes such as rivalry among children, friendships, and situations of choice come to the forefront. Murad's imaginary friend, the famous detective Sherlock Holmes, continues to support him in this season as well.
The series "Me, Lala and Sherlock Holmes 2" will be presented to viewers on the air of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company starting April 19.
